Over the past several years, Morasha parents, faculty, and administration joined together in the deliberative process of selecting ten Jewish values that would most clearly reflect the philosophy of our school. Through extensive text study and lively discussion, the group selected the ten guiding Jewish values that are described below.
Since that time, our values have been integrated into everythiing that we do. By designing several visual representations of our values, we keep them in the forefront of our minds and our hearts as we continue to fufill our educatuional mission.

Halachot V'minhagim — Traditions
Teaching Judaism as a way of life - including prayer, traditions, holidays, tzedakah, and tikkun olam. Through our teaching of ritual, our students learn more about themselves as Jews, are better able to contribute to the community, and gives us a connection and common language. |

Menschlichit — Being a good person
Teaching the essence of Jewish tradition regarding common decency toward others and nurturing the development of behavior as a person created b'tzelem elohim - in God's image. |

Emunah — Faith
Continually interacting with the idea of God's ever-presence in our own daily lives, in the history of the Jewish people, and in all humankind. |

Eretz Yisrael — The land of Israel
Fostering a spiritual, historical, and Zionist connection to the land and people of Israel. |

Tikkun Olam — Repairing the World
Learning to be partners with God by helping to make a better world through acts of moral goodness and other Mitzvot. |

Klal Yisrael — The people of Israel
Striving for the unity of the Jewish people while respecting the diversity of Jewish practices and beliefs. |
