    Restricted Giving

Some Donors may wish to fund a specific area within Morasha's educational program. We welcome the opportunity to meet with you in person to discuss your interests and priorities, and to explore ways in which your generosity can enhance and/or create vital programs at Morasha.

Recent designated gifts to Morasha include one-time and ongoing funding for:

    • Julie Rotter Shumski Memorial Scholarship Fund
    • Artist-in-Residence Program
    • Technology
    • Sports
    • Arts
    • Morasha’s Environmental and Interfaith Initiatives
    • Holiday/Celebration Programs

On occasion, Morasha will also initiate appeals for specific programs. An example of this type of drive is the recent appeal to Grandparents soliciting their support for Morasha's inspiring Artist-in-Residence Project.

For more information about How You Can Support Morasha through Targeted Giving (the use of Restricted Gifts), please view our online brochures or contact Lisa Grajewski, Director of Development, 949.459.6330 x19 or lgrajewski@morasha.org.

    Planned Giving

Eighty percent of school and college endowments were built by planned gifts (bequests, trusts, life insurance, and other estate planning vehicles). Endowment principals remain intact while their earnings provide a steady stream of revenue in unrestricted or restricted support.

Supporting Morasha Jewish Day School through bequests, trusts, life insurance, and other estate planning vehicles will help to build up Morasha's endowment and strengthen Morasha for the long-term.

Donors contributing to Morasha through a bequest or other planned gift are entitled to become members of our Dor L'Dor Society.

For more information about How You Can Support Morasha through Planned Giving, please contact Lisa Grajewski, Director of Development, 949.459.6330 x19.

Morasha works closely with the Community Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Orange County in facilitating planned giving opportunities.

    Gifts-In-Kind

Morasha appreciates the support that can sometimes be provided through non-cash donations. These gifts are accepted at the discretion of the school.
